Gemunder 7/8 Willow

The versatile Gemunder 7/8 Willow bass is slightly larger, with a string length of 42 inches, and is inspired by the original da gamba style basses, meaning the shoulders are slightly more sloping and narrow. The characteristic ample tone produced by this bass is great for both jazz and classical music, and the flat back aids in focusing its tone. The comfortable string length allows players of all styles to feel at home on the fingerboard. This instrument is fully carved, and features sumptuous spruce and willow tonewoods.
